without even watching I am laughing! I am from Washington & my husband is from Georgia so I can just hear our different answers to those questions! They need to add "bag" for us Washingtonians to say.. :)
okay now I'm actually gonna watch it haha!
You are seriously awesome. I want to be just like you when I grow up. I hate when people say cara-mel. I say car-mel.
It is nice to put a voice to the face too because I feel like you would have a husky-ish but sexy woman's voice.
bahahahahaha. I just died laughing! Thank you!
I am from Oklahoma and CAN'T WAIT to do this in my okie accent. ha ha
You are so awesome Raven. I'm still laughing at your vlog. Have a great weekend!

I seriously love this!
-Hey Bitches! And the Coke..what kind? There's more than one kind? It's just a soda!
This is the best thing ever!
BAHAHAHAA! I'm so glad you corrected all these ignorant people!! ;)
P.S. love that you're wearing your necklace!!
"Hey Bitches!!" KML I just died!!! We're told that the carbonated drink is called a soda & the bug that curls up is a millipede <<< who knows! Awesome post though!
how.FREAKKKING.hilarious!!!! Oh my goodness, Raven you totally just made fun of me in most cases &&& I was LAUGHING hysterrrrically! I am still wiping my tears.
You may have just inspired me to do a vlog, something I said I would NEVER do but.. yeah. With your permisson can I take this & pronounce it how we... {I} do in Georgia?
Only with your permission, I don't wanna have some like "copyright" shiii happening againist me.
You rock Momma!
XoXo,
jess
Yay! I speak correctly! Hahaha. I pronounce everything the exact same way as you, even “coupon.” Which I get crap for sometimes. Must be a Washington thing. I do say soda though. I blame that on living in Florida for a while in junior high. I’m totally with you on the Coke thing though!
Living in Mississippi I've always gotten picked on for calling it "soda". (I called it "pop" when I lived in Michigan but that didn't really transfer down South.) I either call it a "soda" or I just say the name of it. Which is usually "root beer".
But you'll find all of this out soon when I do my vlog!
Love it.
Hilarious! Ok, so supposedly this whole "coke" debacle is a southern thing, but I've never heard it down here ha! If I want a sprite, I say sprite. Coke, I say coke.
I can't wait to do one of these. I was so surprised at how many things we actually say the same!! Yay!
heyyy bitches! haha too funny!
you're so right about the "pop". We call it soda, but my mama calls it pop. Coke is a brand. duhhh.
Have a great weekend.
Raven...you are hilarious.
You are HILARIOUS! I love your blog.
I'm new to following you and am super excited about the tattoo blog!! I will be doing a video on my page too!!
im at work and videos are blocked here so i must watch this at home
but let me say that when i first stumbled on your blog months ago and read your about me section and watched the vlog , i was like OMG i love her southern accent!!
hahahahh
xoxo love you!
Well dang now I feel compelled to do one of these. I love how you correct everyone else though...too funny and so Raven :)
hey bitches! hahah LOVED IT!
and love you! awesome vlog lady!
When I lived in arizona we did the "coke" thing it was so weird. But where I lived all they had was coke, lemonade, and like water. No root beer, sprite, or any of that stuff so it was easier to understand
fav part of video though.. "heyyy bitches"
hahaha love this! I will admit that "coke" is definitely a southern thing. Maybe not everyone in the south call it a "coke", but here in Texas, the majority of people refer to it as "coke". Personally, it drives me crazy because I agree, "coke" is Coca-Cola, not a general term for all carbonated beverages. I call it soda.
And salmon drives me crazy. When I was little I had a speech impediment and I took speech therapy and know for a fact that the L is silent! :)
Hilarious!! Im from Missouri and a lot of people pronounce "sure" incorrectly. They say "shore" It drives me NUTS!! We sure don't live by the sea shore.
Yeah, variations in accents is one thing. But saLmon ?!? Just wrong. No matter where you're from, dontcha know? (after watching your vlog, I couldn't help myself) :D
I agree with you! Makes me mad when people mispronounce words!!
ok i just watched!! lets see what we say differently..
aunt, route, caramel, crayON lol, pecan, cOOpon, syrup, pajamas.
WOWZA. We say different things hahaha you would probably get so annoyed with some stuff i say! haha
gym shoes are sneakers!!! hahah
your voice is the cutest ever though i love it!! :-)
xoxo
ps. hey bitches. im dying lol
Bahahaha...this was great!! Thanks for sharing!
You should do an accent vlog link up!
I always call them potato bugs! Haha
this was amazing. I once said to my cousin can i have some pop, and she looked at me like i was crazy, she said "lolipop" she says soda apparently.
I must admit.. I call it a coke. I live in a rural town in Kentucky and only the people that move into this area call it pop or soda. At a restaurant, we usually specify the type when ordering. "I would like a Sprite." If we are referring to soft drinks in general, we call it coke. "Hey babe, can you grab me a coke?" Old habits die hard!
Lol...in one of those that says routes as in roots because I'm from Canada and when I say salmon I announciate my "l! Heehee....have a great weekend!!
I just lol'd for the Hey Bitches. You said it like it was just nothing. Hilarious.
I have yet to do an accent vlog cause I'm still a little freaked about how I sound. I might try and get the courage to do one after I get my voice back. I've watched some other peoples and yours is my favorite so far! Thank you thank you thank you for correcting the people on Coke...(I call it soda), route, and coupon. I always get hounded for how I say coupon and it drives me nuts!! Thanks for sharing yours :)
it's COKE! ;)
Hilarious!!
This was hilarious. So much so, I did my own today. Thanks for sharing!
No you did not. How did I miss this?
It's PECAN - like pah-con not PEE-can. I'm from Texas, my Grandparents had 100 acres of pecan trees most of my life and you say it wrong. I hate how you northerners mess up pecan.
It's called COKE. No it doesn't make sense but that is just how it is.
THAT is all. Toodles.
Haha! This is great :)
Oh MY GOSH. I don't know if we can still be friends. I think I say everything the way you say it is wrong. ;)
PLEASE go watch my video on my blog. And prepare to laugh at my accent. And especially Will's accent. You will die.
LOVE! xoxo
oh my gosh i love this - you totally have a northern accent! so funny how you explained the proper way to say all these words ;) And I have to say, we say a lot of the words the same way....so cute! Can't wait to hear that voice in real life! yay!
XO, A
Oh my lord! Awesome:) I so need to do one of these... I just recorded my voicemail at work and I asked my boss if I really sound that way and he rolled his eyes and said yes... umm, not nice! OH! and when it is raining and the sun is shining it is either called... wait, i'll explain that on my vlog;)
hahaha "I'll throw you a bone and let you call it soda." I HATE when people call it Coke! "Hey Bitchessss!" I about died!
Okay, for some reason I'm just now watching this. And I DIED laughing. Best accent vlog I've ever seen.
HEYYY BITCHES!
The whole coupon thing has been an on going argument in my home. He thinks its COOP-ON, I on the other hand speak proper English & refer to it as a CUE-PON.
Thanks you for only confirming even more how RIGHT I am :P
