Miss Lindsey. We talk a lot. Every day. She knows more about me than most people. I share my secrets with her. (And if you ever dare tell, Les, I will hurt you in the most horrible way you can imagine. I will cut off all your hair when you are sleeping.) I am SO glad I got into blogging because honestly, she is my bestie. Like, my bestest bestie.

Remember how my birthday was last month? She did not disappoint. Look at the fabulousness she sent my way...


She knows me. Glitter top? Mini flat iron? V.S. fashion show bra? Check! Love.

However, my most favorite thing that she sent? These little photo books that she got in the Target dollar section. They were for my boys, and they loved them.



Is that not the cutest thing ever? She cut out their faces and put them in the books, so each different page was my boys being something, i.e. a christmas tree, a snowman, a reindeer. It was the thought and the time and the personal-ness of it that I loved. Trust me when I say that my boys are just as excited to meet Auntie Lindsey as I am! (My hubs? He's the most excited of all, but that's a story for another day).

So when it was time to exchange Christmas gifts, I knew exactly what I wanted to get her once I spotted it on Pinterest. It. was. us. To a mothereffing T. Since I couldn't convince her to do this with me:

I'm never taking mine off. And Les, if I spot a pic where you aren't wearing yours? Hair = cut off.

And guess what. We are meeting, like for real. In just a few months. She is coming to see me in March. And then? She is coming back in July, where she will be a part of this little river debacle:
